Sanjana Dayal, PhD

Shreyashree is a Ph.D. candidate in Molecular Medicine deciphering the links between cancer and thrombosis at the laboratory of Dr. Sanjana Dayal. Her research focuses on understanding the mechanisms of colorectal cancer-associated thrombosis, with an emphasis on the role of oxidative stress, neutrophil dysfunction, and NETosis in promoting thrombus formation. By integrating mouse models, cellular and molecular techniques, and large-scale clinical data analyses, her work aims to uncover mechanisms driving cancer-associated thrombosis and identify potential therapeutic strategies to reduce thrombotic complications in patients with cancer.
